Promoting menstrual health, maternal well-being, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability in local communities
Humura Organisation proudly participated in the Muhanga District Open Day, where we presented our activities and showcased our washable, affordable, and environmentally friendly menstrual pads and reusable diapers. These products offer practical solutions for women, girls, and families with limited financial resources. They also reduce environmental waste and create opportunities for women to develop skills and generate income.
Humuriza Tamari provided 30 pigs to young mothers in Nyagasozi Cell, Mushishiro Sector, Muhanga District.
Through this initiative, 130 children from nursery and primary schools received rabbits, while children in secondary school were provided with pigs to support their livelihoods and contribute to their families' economic development.
Through this initiative, HTF seeks to provide families with a practical opportunity to improve their economic well-being while creating long-term benefits for their households and communities.
